Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Woodland Heights Presbyterian Church.
Program Boundaries:
Kearney Street on the North, Railroad Tracks South of Chase on the South, Washington/Benton on the East, and Kansas Expressway on the West.
Neighborhood Description
A historic neighborhood with rich character, Woodland Heights is home to historic Lafayette Park and the iconic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge. The footbridge connects Woodland Heights to historic Commercial Street (C-Street), known for its vibrant art scene and local shops. The future Reed Academy of Fine & Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art middle school, will add charm and community pride to the neighborhood. Woodland Heights offers a mix of historic homes and is near everything C-Street offers.
