SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (SGF Neighborhood News) —
At the recent City Council meeting, a $1 million request from the City's American Rescue Plan Act fund was approved for Restore SGF. This funding, combined with allocations from the city's budget and investments from various partners, will enable Restore SGF to launch grant programs aimed at property improvements and community engagement. These programs draw inspiration from successful models in other cities like Des Moines, Iowa. Additionally, a forthcoming housing study will provide valuable data to tailor the programs to meet Springfield's specific needs.
