Dana Elwell, the interim executive director of Restore Springfield, discusses the program's focus on neighborhood revitalization and social connections. Modeled after a successful Iowa initiative, Restore Springfield collaborates with the City of Springfield, Community Partnership of the Ozarks, and local banks to provide grants for external improvement projects in eligible neighborhoods.
